I’ve always believed in the importance of human connection and trying new things, which is what brought me to Japan. I wanted to put myself in an unfamiliar environment in order to discover more of who I am. Learning a second language is a great example of how growth happens through unfamiliar experiences. Let’s learn English together and continue growing side by side.

I grew up in a semi-Japanese household in the States. Although there were some aspects of Japanese culture being exposed to me, I still felt there was a lot I didn’t understand. I wanted to be able to speak fluently in both English and Japanese and connect with a culture that’s a part of my identity I wasn’t familiar with.（私はアメリカで、半分日本のルーツを持つ家庭で育ちました。ある程度は日本文化に触れていたものの、理解できていない部分が多くあると感じていました。英語と日本語の両方を流暢に話せるようになり、自分のアイデンティティの一部である日本文化と、もっと深くつながりたいと思ったことがきっかけです。）
